Temporary Autonomous Art 02/04/08-05/04/08

Temporary Autonomous Art in Brighton 2nd-5th April 2008
TAA's are free, open access art exhibitions that take place in disused and reclaimed spaces throughout the UK. It transforms them into vibrant, artistic and cultural interactive spaces that will be used respectfully and intelligently, for genuine community development, and creating fields of opportunity for a future at no cost or harm to anyone else.
Artists, musicians, writers and performers are all invited to take part. TAA will be exhibiting all forms of artwork like drawings, paintings, sculptures, photography, installations, also showcasing poets and vocalists, films and performance, words and concepts.
Leftover will be contributing to this event by running a bag making workshop. We will bring sewing machines and a variety of fabrics, trimmings, and fabric paints. Partakers will have the chance to make a tote bag (shopping bag) as simple or as intricate as they want. By this we hope we can reduce the use of plastic bags. If you get to make your own bag to your own taste, there is no excuse not to strut it out and about!
Temporary Autonomous Art in Brighton is organised by
