Patchwork Tub Chair No 7

I couldn’t resist to make another one! Had all these gorgeous bits of velvet left from the wing back armchair project that I wanted to use and a tub chair came into Shabitat this week so perfect timing! Its up there with my favourites this one. I do have some more of this velvet left so if you want a tub chair in these colours its actually possible. Get in touch for more information.

Reupholstered Patchwork Tubchair

It’s been too long since I reupholstered a tub chair. I love doing them as I can use off-cuts I have left from other projects plus the actual re-upholstery job on these are pretty straight forward. I always go for very bright colours but I have been told that even tough people like them it wouldn’t fit into their (beige) decor. So I made one in fairly neutral colours. Lets see if it will have any takers. Avalaible at Shabitat.

Patchwork Tub Chair Upholstery

More patchwork chairs you say? Lynn was so pleased with her two matching deep button armchairs that she wanted me to make her another two! Plus a footstool.

These are the same shape as my usual tub chairs, so they didn’t take too long to cover.

And here they all are in their home. Happy customers!

Upcycled Patchwork Armchairs Made To Order

Lynn had seen some of my other patchwork armchairs on my website. She had two comfortable armchairs that needed a facelift. She wanted something in bright colours with a lot of pink blue and orange.

I had some help from the lovely Anna from Brighton Upholstery too as I had never done deep buttoning before. This was the outcome

If you want to know what it looked like before, here it is!

It’s been a while since the last set of patchwork tub chairs. So I made two to make up for it.
