Textile Reuse Hub
The Brighton Textile Reuse Hub (TRH) is a dynamic and growing collaboration between Leftover Threads, Gladrags and Smarter Uniforms Our shared goal is to promote and facilitate local textile reuse, working towards a more sustainable future for our Brighton community.
Brighton Textile Reuse Hub aims to;
- Increase the reuse and circulation of existing textiles in the local area.
- Support individuals impacted by the rising cost of living, by encouraging the use of second-hand or repurposed clothing and providing assistance with repairs.
- Raise awareness of the environmental impact of textile waste and the importance of sustainable practices.
Over the coming year, we plan to connect with a network of like-minded organisations to:
- Enhance textile reuse efforts across Brighton and Hove.
- Share ideas, information, and resources to create a more sustainable community.
- Promote each other’s events and initiatives focused on sustainability.
- Foster connections and collaboration across the local area.
